The seahorse is the most intricate creature Maya sculpts — and the most beloved. Each armored plate along the body is individually tooled by hand. The curled tail wraps around coral and sea grass that texture the base. The crown of spines on the head is hand-applied one spike at a time. Glazed in iridescent green-gold that shifts to teal in different lighting, with hand-painted details in copper and bronze. The opening at the top holds your plant beautifully. This is Maya's most requested piece — for good reason.
